The salespeople and brokers of RE/MAX Garden City Realty Inc. are indeed a very special group of people. RE/MAX, since its inception, has always placed a high premium on excellence. ‘Above the Crowd!’ The founding philosophy was to gather the very best salespeople from across the
industry under one roof, provide them with the best of facilities, support services, management and training, and you can expect the best results. And that’s what we’ve endeavoured to do. As a result, we believe we have the finest group of salespeople you could ever hope to find, right here at RE/MAX Garden City.
And once a year we set aside a special night to honour these outstanding salespeople and recognize their performance achievements over the past year. A night of the stars.
It’s typically a glitzy affair, our Awards Gala. Held each year at Club Roma. We begin as has been tradition by utilizing the talents of our amazing Rachel Wilcox to transform the hall into a dazzling environment suited for honouring celebrities. This year, the motif was stars. With illuminated stars gracing the stage and awards table. Guests were greeted by helium filled RE/MAX balloons, a welcoming arch of balloons as well as a sentinal of balloons forming the walkway. Tables, as is our custom, were adorned with crystal centre pieces, flowers and balloons.
After a time of mixing and mingling over cocktails, attendees (agents, spouses and guests) gravitated to their seats and dug in to a fabulous buffet filled with chicken, beef, pasta and of course our traditional pecan pie.
Moving on to the formal portion of the evening, Awards were arranged into a number of categories. Annual Performance Awards ranked by sales volume and defined to recognize both individual and team production. Then Career Awards, which honour the accumulated production of individuals over their career at RE/MAX. From there, we moved on to a number of specialty awards. The Top Five Individuals and the Top Five Teams based on 2019 total sales volume and finally the Rookie of the Year, honouring the new licensee who achieved the highest sales volume over his/her first full year with the company.
Not to be overlooked, our affiliate company, Dominion Lending Centres Easy Street Mortgages was also recognized with mortgage specialist Kevin Liddiard receiving awards for outstanding production levels both for the year 2019 and for his career production with DLC.
Following the formal ceremonies, the lights dimmed, the D.J. cranked the music and people headed to the dance floor to gyrate the night away.
All in all, it was a fabulous evening. We have a lot to be thankful for. A wonderful industry to be a part of and community to work within. A truly amazing group of superstars and a team of support personnel absolutely second to none. A great night. A great team. We are blessed.
